Ayatollah Sayed Ebrahim Raisi, head of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who has traveled to this continent to visit three African countries, said in a meeting with the President of Kenya that Iran has become one of the advanced countries in various fields thanks to the Islamic Revolution. This country is ready to share its experiences in various fields with African countries, including Kenya.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Ayatollah Sayed Ebrahim Raisi, today Wednesday also at the meeting of the high-ranking delegations of Iran and Kenya, considered the relations between these two countries to have deep historical roots and, pointing to the huge capacities in Iran and Kenya, on the necessity He emphasized the use of these capacities in line with the development of commercial interactions between these two countries.
The President of Iran added: Thanks to the Islamic Revolution, the Islamic Republic of Iran has become one of the advanced countries in various fields of medicine, agriculture, science, technology and industry, and Iran is ready to share these experiences in the form of commercial and economic exchanges with Kenya.
Mr. Raisi also stressed on the expansion of economic relations between Iran and Kenya and demanded the increase of trade exchanges between these two countries up to 10 times.
"William Ruto", the President of Kenya, also in this meeting, considered the visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Nairobi as the beginning of a new chapter in the relations between the two countries, and expressed his country's interest in developing business interactions and investing in tourism, fisheries, agriculture, and medical equipment. He emphasized with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to Iran Press, also at the beginning of this meeting, the high-level political and economic delegations of the two countries of Iran and Kenya discussed and exchanged opinions about ways to expand cooperation and bilateral interactions in the political, economic and cultural fields, as well as introducing the diverse capacities of Iran and Kenya in different fields. Agriculture, animal husbandry, medical equipment, industries and building materials and petrochemicals cooperated for development.
On the other hand, it is said that the delegations of both sides signed several cooperation documents in different sectors.
It should be mentioned that Sayed Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Republic of Iran, started his trip to these countries on Wednesday morning at the head of a high-ranking delegation at the official invitation of the presidents of three African countries, Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
