In a meeting with the officials of the Islamic Emirate in Herat, Deputy Economic Governor of Khorasan Razavi welcomed the opening of the Khaf-Herat railway line and said that now security is ensured in Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to cooperate with the Islamic Emirate in economic sectors.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Herat: The officials of the Islamic Emirate, including the governor of Herat and the head of the country's railway department, met and discussed with the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran who have traveled to this province to inaugurate the Khaf-Herat railway project.
 
This meeting which took place today Wednesday (July 13, 2023) between the officials of the Islamic Emirates with Abolfazl Chamandi, the economic deputy of the governor of Khorasan Razavi and engineer Sayed Hussain Mir Shafi, the special representative of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran in Herat city, the economic deputy of the governor of Khorasan Razavi from the beginning He welcomed the Herat-Khaf railway line and added that now security is ensured in Afghanistan and the country of Iran is ready to cooperate with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in economic sectors.
 
Also, engineer Sayed Hussain Mir Shafi, the special representative of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran assured that they are ready to cooperate with the Department of Public Benefits of this province in the construction of Herat roads.
 
On the other hand, Sheikh Noor Ahmad Islam Jar, the governor of Herat, assured that now security is fully ensured in Afghanistan and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is committed to providing a suitable basis for economic cooperation with Afghanistan's neighboring countries.
 
Meanwhile, Maulvi Bakhtur Rahman Sharaft, the general head of the country's railway administration, said that the Herat-Khaf railway line, apart from Afghanistan, is also economically important for Iran, and Iran can be connected to East Asia through this railway line.
 
It is said that with the opening of the Khaf-Herat railway line, which took place yesterday, many facilities will be provided in the export and import of commercial goods between the two countries.
