AVA - Fire Destroyed Ten Acres of Land in Kunar province

A forest fire destroyed tens of acres of land in Kunar so far. Local officials of this province said.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, 14 hectares and 80 acres of forest were destroyed in this fire, said Ehsanullah, an official at the disaster management department of the Kunar to Bakhtar News Agency.

The fire breakout on Saturday in the forests of Sundari and Karangul Kunar district and destroyed 14 hectares and 80 acres of forest and cattle in the province, he added.

Meanwhile, hundreds of youths from the region have reached the site to control the fire, but the fire has not been completely controlled so far.

The main cause of the fire has not yet been determined, the strong wind and high temperature in the region have caused the fire to reach many areas.
