Transfer of Pakistani immigrants to the north of the country; The Islamic Emirate should explain to solve the concerns of the citizens
After the decision of the Islamic Emirate to transfer Pakistani immigrants from the border provinces of Khost, Kunar and Paktika to the northern provinces of the country, which has caused concerns among some citizens, experts say that in order to resolve the concerns of the citizens, the Islamic Emirate should discuss the plan to transfer these immigrants to The northern provinces should clarify, so that the opponents of the regime do not use this issue to divert the public's mind.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, told TOLO News about the plan to transfer Pakistani immigrants, that in this plan, only a number of Waziristan immigrants will be transferred to the central, southern and northern parts of Afghanistan, and such No action will result in any threat or discrimination.
He added: A very small number of Pakistani immigrants are transferred from the border provinces to other regions of the country, they are the ones about whose presence there were concerns, and these people are moved to the central, southern and also Northern provinces to be under control.
Mr. Mujahid also said in the past that the purpose of transferring Pakistani immigrants to distant provinces is to ensure the government of Pakistan that immigrants do not interfere in attacks against this country, but he did not specify who these immigrants are.
Earlier, Rana Sanaullah, the Minister of Interior of Pakistan, also said: The Islamic Emirate has submitted a proposal to them, based on which the armed members of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan will be withdrawn from the areas near the Durand Line and will be transferred to more distant areas inside Afghanistan. But Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, mentioned the Pakistani Tehreek-e-Taliban in his speech.
There is no accurate information about the number of Pakistani immigrants in Afghanistan. The Norwegian Refugee Council estimated in 2019 that there are about 72,000 Pakistani immigrants in Afghanistan, most of whom live in temporary camps in Khost province, but the Pakistan-based newspaper "Express Tribune" estimates the number of Pakistani immigrants in Afghanistan at about 8. Up to 12,000 people are estimated to reach around 30,000 people along with their families.
Most of these migrants fled from there since June 2014 during the Pakistani army's ground operation that began in the tribal region of North Waziristan and settled in areas in Afghanistan (including Khost, Kunar and Paktika) that border Pakistan.
In this regard, Ahmed Fawad Niazi, a political affairs expert, told AVA that in order to address the concerns of the country's citizens, the Islamic Emirate should distribute the plan to transfer Pakistani immigrants from the border provinces to other provinces of the country more to the people, so that the enemies of the regime do not deviate from this issue. Do not use common sense.
He stated that "Islamic Emirate should consider all cases" and transfer Pakistani immigrants to another province, adding that the government should adopt a specific mechanism for the relocation of Pakistani immigrants so as not to create problems for the native residents of the provinces.
Niazi emphasized that if the Islamic Emirate does not implement a specific mechanism for the relocation of Pakistani immigrants in the country, it will have dire consequences for the people and the country in the future.
At the same time, Toryali Sarwari, an expert on political affairs, also told AVA that the Islamic Emirate should act cautiously in moving Pakistani immigrants so as not to cause ethnic tension between Afghans in the north of the country.
Sarwari believes that the transfer of Pakistani immigrants from the border provinces to the northern provinces of the country will not help the security of Pakistan, because Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and other armed opponents of this government have taken root in this country.
He pointed out: When the Islamic Emirate takes care of the demands of the Pakistani government, Pakistanis should not use the Afghan immigrants as a lever of pressure to fulfill their interests against the Afghan government.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani authorities say that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has safe places inside the territory of Afghanistan and they use the other side of the border to attack Pakistan; But the Pakistani Taliban have said that they coordinate their attacks from inside Pakistan.
Officials of the Islamic Emirate have repeatedly said that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan is not active in Afghanistan and there is no threat from Afghanistan to regional countries, especially neighboring countries.
