AVA - A Memorandum has been Signed to Print New Afghani Banknotes

A new memorandum of understanding has been signed with major international companies for the printing of Afghan banknotes. The General Director of DABS in a meeting with the Acting Prime Minister said.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The General Director of Da Afghanistan Bank, Hedayatullah Badri shared details about the achievements and activities of Da Afghanistan Bank, saying that important steps have been taken to maintain the value of the Afghani currency and the problems of the old banknotes have been addressed in the markets, a statement said released by Arg.

He said Da Afghanistan Bank is in a better position, functioning by all banking standards.

Acting PM, Mawlavi Kabir, praised the efforts of the bank officials in preserving the Afghani currency value and said that the bank should prioritize the preservation of the Afghani value and also pursue a specialized monetary policy according to the criteria.
