After announcing his victory in the second round of the Turkish presidential election, Recep Tayyip Erdogan considered the people the main winner of the election and thanked each and every one of them.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Erdogan declared the 85 million population of Turkey the winner of the election on the evening of Sunday May 28, 2023, in the meeting of his supporters in Istanbul city, appreciating the participation of all the people in the second round of the elections and the high participation of the people in voting inside and outside the country and thanked each and every Turkish people who entrusted him with the responsibility of managing the country in the next five years.
According to Iran Press, he considered today's result as a lesson for Kılıçdaroğlu and said: I believe that he lost the result because of the deputies and companions he chose for himself during the election competition.
The preliminary results of the counting of all the ballot boxes of the second round of the Turkish elections show that Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the candidate of the presidential coalition, has won the 13th term of the Turkish presidential election by winning nearly 27 million votes, equivalent to 52.11% of the popular vote.
Kamal Kılıçdaroğlu, the candidate of the National Coalition and Erdoğan's opponent, has also lost in the second round of the Turkish presidential election by winning about 24,800,000 votes.

In recent years, Erdogan has come under political pressure due to the economic crisis and increasing restrictions in the fields of human rights and the rule of law. The party led by him and his allies won the majority in the parliamentary elections on May 14.
