AVA - Police Handed over dozens of Light, Heavy Weapons to WCP

Dozens of weapons handed over to the weapons collection process by police officers of Maidan Wardak.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, These weapons were recovered during security operations from parts of Maidan Wardak, mainly Behsud district, the police of the province said.

The provincial director of counter-terrorism of Maidan Wardak Police Department, Mawlavi Zamrak Obeida, told BNA that during this round, they handed over sixty-two light and heavy weapons to the weapons collection process.

Fazal Haq Sangar, in charge of collecting weapons, says that these weapons include PK machine guns, rocket launchers, Kalashnikovs, and 11 rifles.
