Outsider are looking for crisis and war between Iran and Afghanistan/ the authorities of the two countries do not allow enemies to be happy
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: In series of tweets, referring to the issue of the Islamic Republic of Iran's water rights from the Helmand River, the head of the Tebyan Center for Social and Cultural Activities considered it the duty of governments to exchange positions on international issues and stated that good relations and the existence of cooperation both are in the interest of Iran and Afghanistan, and only the enemies will happy to break up the relationship between the two governments and the nation, but also to create and increase the hostility between them.
Following the exchange of messages between Iranian and Afghan officials regarding the Helmand River conflict and the emergence of tension and border conflict between the two sides, Mazari considered it the duty of the governments to exchange positions and said: Afghanistan and Iran, regarding the water rights of this country from the Helmand River, some irresponsible people and circles from both countries tried to create and intensify tension with humor and sarcasm, which means that they are either seeking to secure the interests of foreigners or It shows the extreme weakness of their political thought and culture.
This is despite the fact that, according to the head of the Tebyan Center, the good relationship and the existence of bilateral cooperation are for the benefit of Iran and Afghanistan, and only the enemies of the language are happy to break the relationship between the two governments and peoples of Afghanistan and Iran, but rather to create and increase hostilities between them.
This expert on political issues has emphasized that the minds of both sides will not allow happiness to form in the enemy's camp.
Hussaini Mazari has said in a tweet that in Iran and Afghanistan, elements and currents are more serious than their governments and follow the interests of foreigners, or seek to be seen at any cost.
The head of Tebyan Center has continued that the interests of Afghanistan and Iran are possible with the existence and continuation of their interaction, and the minds of both sides are definitely moving in this direction.
Hussaini Mazari considered the creation of pressure and threats against fellow immigrants in Iran or people who travel to and from Iran as one of the unfortunate events at the time of tension and rumors between Afghanistan and Iran and said: Iran is trying to use immigrants as leverage as a pressure against Afghanistan, and the Afghan side is trying to increase its suspicion towards those nationals of the country and apply pressure on the basis of that, who have been in Iran for some time or have traveled to that country.
The head of Tebyan Center considered this procedure as showing the weakness of management and diplomacy of both sides and expressed his hope that the rational and caring leaders of both governments will stop such a regressive procedure and put an end to the conflict-solving behavior.
Earlier, Hojjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Hussaini Mazari had emphasized in a tweet that Iran's water rights from the Helmand River are not something that will cause political tension between the two countries of Iran and Afghanistan, and said that the easiest way to resolve the misunderstanding that has arisen is to create a joint working group for Investigating the issue of water rights.
Meanwhile, according to reports, a military clash took place between the forces of the Islamic Emirate and the Iranian border guards in "Makki" area of Kong district of Nimroz province at around 12 noon yesterday.
Abdul Nafi Takor, the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Emirate, said in a tweet: "Today, in Nimroz province, Iranian border forces fired at Afghanistan, which was met with a counter-reaction."
The spokesman of the Ministry of Interior added that the issue has been brought to the elders of both sides and now the situation is under control. He emphasized that the Islamic Emirate does not want to fight with its neighbors.
But the senior commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran's police force said that the first shooting started from Afghanistan.
According to the media, after the start of the conflicts, correspondence and contacts are established between the Iranian embassy in Afghanistan and the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Emirate. Accordingly, after the end of the conflicts, the two sides are investigating the cause of this tension.
Yesterday's conflict took place while Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Iran's presidential special representative for Afghanistan and head of the country's embassy in Kabul, in the midst of tensions between the two countries over the issue of Iran's water rights from Helmand, yesterday morning with Amir Khan Muttaqi, the head of the country's embassy in Kabul. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate has met and discussed. In this meeting, the two sides emphasized on solving the existing differences through diplomacy and dialogue.
Recently, Iranian officials criticized the Islamic Emirate for not respecting the country's water rights. In this regard, Iran's President Ayatollah Raisi recently said during a trip to Iran's Chabahar region regarding the country's water rights from Helmand: "I warn the rulers of Afghanistan to give the water rights to the people of Sistan and Baluchistan immediately."
The president of Iran added: "If our experts confirm the lack of water, we have nothing to say, otherwise we will not allow the rights of our people to be violated, and this issue is not something that is subject to the passage of time."
The Islamic Emirate also issued a statement in response to the words of Ayatollah Raisi and said that the Islamic Emirate is committed to the treaty half a century ago regarding the sharing of Helmand water. But there is not enough water due to drought.
Iranian officials emphasize that the Islamic Emirate's claim about the lack of water should be verified by a joint technical committee.
In this regard, Hussain Amir Abdullahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in response to the Islamic Emirate's statement regarding Iran's right to water from the Helmand River, wrote in a tweet that the lack of water was a technical and objective visit and not a political statement issued by Islamic Emirate has been established.
However, the reactions of the officials of both countries were not limited to this amount, and in the past days, various officials of both sides have commented on the issue of Helmand's water rights.
I have to say; Afghanistan and Iran have signed a treaty to share Helmand river water in 1351 AH.
Iranian officials say that according to this treaty, 820 million cubic meters of water should enter Iran from Afghanistan every year in wet years; but they claim that Iran does not receive this amount of water.
