Afghan News Agency (AVA): Based on the report of the AFP, the regional authorities in northeastern Italy have extended the state of emergency on Saturday, May 20, due to the increase in rain.
As a result of the floods and landslides in Italy, 14 people have died so far and the roads of the cities and villages of Emilia-Romagna region have been filled with water.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has said that due to the state of emergency in her country, she will leave the G7 summit in Japan early.
The rains and floods in recent days have caused more than 305 landslides to occur in this country. As a result of these events, more than 500 roads have been destroyed in Ravenna.
The authorities of this city have asked the residents who are most at risk to leave their homes.
