If the facts are not properly studied and such statements are made, the political atmosphere between the people and the countries of the two countries can change." harming the Muslim nation, which is not in the interest of any party and should not be repeated."

The Islamic Emirate has also said that it will try to ensure that the promised water reaches Iran, but on the condition that the water reserves in Afghanistan reach such a level that by releasing them, the water can travel hundreds of kilometers and reach that country.

On the other hand, Hussain Amir Abdullahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in response to the statement of the Islamic Emirate regarding Iran's claim to the Helmand River, wrote in a tweet that the criterion and the lack of water was a technical and objective visit and not the issuance of a political statement from It has been done towards the Islamic Emirate.

In this situation, Hojjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Hussaini Mazari, the general director of the Tebyan Social Cultural Activities Center, said in a tweet that Iran's claim of the Helmand River is not something that will cause and intensify the political tension between the two countries of Iran and Afghanistan.

According to Hosseini Mazari, Iran claims the right and the Islamic Emirate recognizes this right but says it is not water. Therefore, the easiest way to resolve the misunderstanding is to create a joint working group to investigate the issue.

Afghanistan and Iran have signed a treaty to share Helmand river water in 1351.

Iranian officials say that according to this treaty, 820 million cubic meters of water should enter Iran from Afghanistan every year in wet years; But they claim that Iran does not receive this amount of water.
