18 May 2023 - 13:00

The National Security Adviser of the White House announced that the President of the United States will not apologize to the people of the city for the atomic bombing during his visit to Hiroshima.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said on Wednesday that Joe Biden will not apologize to the people of Hiroshima for the bombing of this city by the Americans during his trip to Hiroshima, Japan to participate in the G7 Summit.

The heads of the world's seven most powerful economic countries, known as the Group of 7, are scheduled to meet in Hiroshima from May 19 to 21.

It should be noted that the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (August 6 and 10, 1945) were two atomic operations that were carried out against the Empire of Japan by the order of Harry Truman, the president of the United States at the time, during World War II.
