The head of foreign relations of Kunduz Province says that the Consul General of the Republic of Iran in Mazar-e-Sharif has discussed with a number of diplomats of this country during a trip to Kunduz Province, on the expansion of commercial relations with the local authorities of this province.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: Asadullah Niazi, head of Kunduz's foreign relations, told AVA that last Thursday, a delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by the Consul General of the country in Mazar-e-Sharif visited Kunduz and in a meeting with local officials. They talked about important commercial and economic issues.
It has been said that Mr. Yahyavi, the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mazar-e-Sharif, met with the Governor of Kunduz Province and discussed common interests, increasing business exchanges and tourism industry between the two countries.
Transit and education issues were also discussed in this meeting.
It should be mentioned that after the domination of the Islamic Emirate, the interest of the Islamic Republic of Iran in investing in Afghanistan has increased.
