The King of Saudi Arabia sent the President of Syria to participate in the meeting of Arab leaders hosted by Jeddah.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Syrian President Bashar al-Assad received the invitation of King Salman bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia to participate in the 32nd meeting of Arab leaders.
 
This meeting will be hosted by Saudi Arabia and will be held in Jeddah on May 19^th.
 
The official invitation of the King of Saudi Arabia to the President of Syria was presented by the Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, Nayef al-Sadiri.
 
Thanking the King of Saudi Arabia for this invitation, Assad emphasized that holding a meeting of Arab leaders in Saudi Arabia will strengthen joint Arab activity and cooperation to fulfill the wishes of the Arab nations.
