Afghan police arrested 17 people on the charge of involvement in criminal activities in Khost province.

Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Monitoring, The people arrested on Wednesday were involved in illegal activities such as robbery, mobile snatching, drug smuggling, and creating law and order problems in the province and its vicinity.

In a similar crackdown, police arrested 155 alleged criminals in Afghanistan's northern Takhar province over the past month, the state-run Bakhtar news agency reported.

Afghan caretaker government has vowed to crack down on criminal elements elsewhere in Afghanistan to ensure law and order in the war-torn country.
