Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Pakistani media have reported that Maulavi Siraj-ul-Haq, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami party of this country, had a telephone conversation with Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, regarding the political situation in the region.
The Nation news agency said that yesterday (Monday, April 24) the two sides discussed the general political situation of the region and emphasized the need for cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan to improve the situation of the two countries.
Stating that Pakistan and Afghanistan are "brother countries" and the future of both countries is bright, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan has emphasized that they should cooperate with each other to promote peace and development in the region.
According to the report of this Pakistani media, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate has announced his visit to Pakistan in the near future and said that he hopes that this trip will "strengthen the relations between the two countries".
