Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Iran's Foreign Minister is scheduled to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov today, Wednesday (March 29), to discuss and exchange views on bilateral and international issues. The JCPOA negotiations, the situation in Syria, Afghanistan, the Caucasus region and the Caspian Sea will be among the topics discussed by the two sides.
Also, according to the announcement of Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in the shadow of the agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia to resume relations, Lavrov and Amir Abdullahian also exchange views on improving the situation in the Middle East region.
According to Zakharova, commercial and economic issues, including the implementation of joint infrastructure projects between the two countries in the fields of transportation and energy, will be among the other axes of Amir Abdullahian's trip to Moscow.
Hussain Amir Abdullahian, upon his arrival at the Moscow airport last night, told reporters in response to America's concern about Iran-Russia defense cooperation and said: Of course, defense cooperation is one of the issues on the agenda of Tehran and Moscow, but this cooperation will not be against any side. .
