115 micro and macro construction projects were conducted and completed in the past year in Balkh. Local officials of this province said.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The Deputy Governor of Balkh, Mawlavi Noor ul-Hadi Abu Idris told BNA that during last year, 115 construction projects were carried out and completed in Balkh, and fourteen billion afghanis were collected through the customs and other departments.”

He said that about 35,600 square meters of government land and 100,000 acres of grassland have been taken back from usurpers in this province.

According to him, last year, in coordination with the Departments of Economy, and Natural Disasters Management, in cities and districts of Balkh, food items and cash have been distributed to the needy by national and international aid organizations.

The International firms, who operate in Balkh, the security of their offices and employees are secured by the security forces, he added.
