AVA - Women’s Domestic Products Exhibition in Herat

With the presence of several women and cultural activists in Herat, 5-day exhibition was opened with the aim of marketing and growth of the products of women.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The head of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Adiba Waziri says that 45 booths of women’s domestic products are displayed in this exhibition.

She says that currently five women’s markets operating in Herat, and now promising conditions have led to the increase of women in trade in this province.

According to her, meanwhile, 1400 women are busy in small and large businesses in the western region of the country, and 350 of them are officially licensed and registered with the Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
