AVA - MoMP Signed a Contract worth $100m

The country’s Mines and Petroleum Ministry, contracted the cement project in Kandahar.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The contract for the cement project in Kandahar province has been signed today, Saturday by Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, Acting Mines and Petroleum Minister and Chairman of Ahmad Nabizadeh Company, said the Ministry publishing a statement.

The cement project in Kandahar is in the exploration, and processing stage with an investment of about 100 million USD, the annual production of which is about one million tons of cement, according to the Ministry.

With the start of this project will job opportunities will be provided to at least five thousand people in the province.
