The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran, as well as the Consulate General of this country in Mazar-e-Sharif city, strongly condemned the attack by a young male terrorist on the office of the Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) and the Tebyan Cultural and Social Activities Center in Mazar-e-Sharif.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Following the terrorist attack and bloody explosion this Saturday morning, March 11 at the representative office of Afghan Voice News Agency (AVA) and Tebyan Center in Mazar-e-Sharif, which held a conference about Mahdism and the birth of Imam Zaman (AJ) as well as The appreciation of journalists was being held, Nasser Kanani, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, strongly condemned this cowardly terrorist attack.
Kanani, while expressing his grief and sorrow over the martyrdom and wounding of a group of journalists and members of culture and media in this terrorist act, expressed his sympathy with the bereaved families, the injured, and the Afghan journalist community, especially in Balkh province, and wished for a speedy recovery for the injured.
The spokesperson of Iran's diplomatic service described the commanders and perpetrators of such weekly terrorist attacks as enemies of the stability, security and peace of the neighboring and Muslim people of Afghanistan, who have targeted information and enlightenment as well as coexistence between the people of Afghanistan.
On the other hand, the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif also announced in a statement: "Unfortunately, the meeting place of journalists in the office of the AVA news agency in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif has been targeted by a suicide attack." The Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mazar-e-Sharif strongly condemns this unfortunate attack, which has resulted in the death and injury of a number of journalists and members of the media, and expresses its sympathy with the injured and their families, as well as the journalist community of Balkh.
It is stated in this statement that this terrorist act was undoubtedly carried out by the enemies of the Afghan people and opponents of the exchange of informative and transparent media news.
According to the latest reports, this terrorist explosion, which according to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, was caused by a landmine, resulted in 3 martyrs and 30 wounded.
