Among the provinces of Afghanistan, Badakhshan and Takhar are the two that are prone to hazards, notably earthquakes and landslides.
Badakhshan province has recently had a lot of earthquakes; this is cause for serious alarm and caution.
Last week, two earthquakes hit Fayzabad of Badakhshan province with the same magnitude; earlier, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake stuck Afghanistan-Tajikistan by an aftershock measuring 5.0 magnitude and another earthquake measuring 4.6 magnitudes.
Two earthquakes shook the Afghan province of Badakhshan in January, and multiple avalanches happened within a month. The province is prone to disasters compared to the rest of the country.
Meanwhile, In February, a Dutch expert predicted that there might be a big earthquake in Afghanistan, and the epicentre of the quake, estimated to be Afghanistan, goes via Pakistan and India.
