AVA - Jirga Resolves 21 Years of Enmity in Farah

A 21 years of conflicts between two tribes ended in Farah province with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan mediations.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Many local officials from the province and Herat including the deputies of Farah and Herat attended the Jirga to resolves the dispute between these two tribes, according to Bakhtar News Agency correspondent.

Local officials and religious scholars spoke about the importance of peace and praised their actions for ending the conflict and forgiving each other, BNA reporter said.

During the years of conflict between these two tribes, 6 people were killed and 2 people were injured on both sides.
