AVA - Public Works Ministry Wants to Reconstruct Kabul-Kandahar Highway

Ministry is ready to construct and reconstruct the Kabul-Kandahar highway in exchange for mining extraction. Public Works Ministry said.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The Ministry of Public Works plans for the economic role of the Kabul-Kandahar highway, that this highway will be divided into five parts, from Arghandi square to Durrani Bazaar, from the center of Ghazni to Pash Kandah, from Pash Kandah to Qalat city, from Qalat city and from Shahr Safa to Manjeh added to the statement.

The Ministry said that is ready to do it in exchange for mining contracts with private construction companies.

All domestic construction companies and national businessmen who are interested in investing in this sector and can complete the conditions; are asked to refer to the Ministry of Public Works within 15 days to receive further details for qualification, said the Ministry.

The Kabul-Kandahar highway is one of the important commercial highways of the country, which connects the southern and southwestern provinces of Afghanistan.
