"Hussain Ibrahim Taha", the secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, condemned the insult of some extremists to the Holy Quran in this meeting held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and considered these actions provocative.
Ibrahim Taha said: The purpose of these criminal actions against Muslims is to insult the Islam religion and to insult the holy things and values of Muslims.

Ibrahim Taha stated: Burning the Holy Quran is a direct insult to one billion and six hundred million Muslims, for this reason, repeating these provocative actions in the future should be prevented.
Afghanistan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Turkey, Egypt, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Al-Azhar in Egypt, the World Assembly of Muslim Scholars, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Jordan, the Maghreb, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, the Yemeni Ansarullah Movement, Lebanon's Hezbollah, Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad were among the countries and institutions that took a stand against this offensive action and condemned it, demanding that it not be repeated and punishing its perpetrators, and warned about the spread of actions that cause disrespect to religions and intensify violence.
