On the eve of the 9th anniversary of the Yemeni war, the Saudi Foreign Minister said that this war must be ended through dialogue.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Faisal bin Farhan, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday (January 18), in a speech called for "an end to the war in Yemen through dialogue and negotiation".
 
He emphasized that "we must find a way to restore the ceasefire in Yemen and try to turn it into a sustainable ceasefire".
 
According to Al-Mayadeen, Faisal bin Farhan stated that "we are making progress in Yemen, but there is still work to be done."
 
In recent days, some news sources, quoting Yemeni political sources, wrote that Saudi Arabia was forced to accept the demands of Ansarullah and surrender the demands on the rights of Sana'a, and the ceasefire in Yemen is going to be extended for another six months.
 
Last Saturday, Mohammad Abd Salam, the spokesman and head of the Ansarullah negotiating team, said that any solution to the war in Yemen should require the payment of salaries to employees from oil and gas revenues based on the 2014 budget, the reopening of airports, ports, and roads, as well as the release of all prisoners and a complete solution. It should be a humanitarian issue.
 
On the other hand, Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, one of the senior members of Yemen's Ansarullah movement, said a few days ago that this Ansarullah is against and dissatisfied with the conditions of neither war nor peace in Yemen, after the end of the UN ceasefire.
 
Al-Houthi said in a meeting with the leaders of Dhamar province: There are many obstacles in the shadow of the siege and attack on Yemen, but the extension of the ceasefire was rejected, although we cannot live in the conditions of neither peace nor war.
 
This Ansarullah official stated that with the efforts of the Yemeni nation, it can be said that progress has been made and the enemy's conspiracy has ended, adding: There is an all-out military, security, administrative and service battle in Yemen.
 
Following the consultations of the United Nations and the goodwill of Sana'a, a two-month ceasefire was established on 13 March 1401 in Yemen, which ended after two periods of two-month extensions in 10 months without reaching a new agreement.
 
Among its most important provisions was the arrival of 18 fuel ships to Hodeida ports and the permission of two weekly round-trip flights from Sana'a airport, but this ceasefire was violated hundreds of times by the aggressor coalition.
 
The National Salvation Government of Yemen has announced the lifting of the blockade, the complete reopening of the Sana'a airport and the payment of employees' salaries from the oil revenues of the provinces occupied by the mercenaries of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as the conditions for a new extension of the ceasefire.
 
Saudi coalition failed to achieve these goals due to the courageous resistance of the Yemeni people and armed forces and their special missile and drone operations and was forced to accept a ceasefire, which ended after three stages of two months as a result of the Arab aggressor coalition's failures.
