The press office of the Afghan Embassy in India says that we are in contact with the students' representatives and we are trying to hold meetings with the Indian government to find a basic solution to the problems of the graduated students.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): An Afghan student who graduated from the Indian Military Academy but is currently studying at a civilian university with a military background told the media: Our only wish was to return to our country after graduation and serve but unfortunately, it didn't happened.

He, who did not want to be named, added: During the training course and after the overthrow of the previous government, the governments of India and America had promised us that they would provide us with the necessary assistance. The Indian government had said that after graduation they would provide more fields of study, unfortunately it did not happen. We were in a very bad situation and our families are also facing a very bad economic situation in Afghanistan, there is no job and we did not achieve what we came and studied and now we are on a path where the result is not clear."

He pointed out that he had been trained in military courses for 18 months in India.

The students of the country who have graduated from military courses in India claim that the Afghan embassy told them that the Indian government cannot help them other than buying a ticket to go to Afghanistan.

But the press office of the Afghan embassy in India said in a message to the media: "We are in touch with the representatives of the military students, the necessary steps have been taken for the first phase and we are still holding meetings to discuss with the Indian government, the basic solution.
