Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: Mohammad Akram Akbari, head of Badakhshan's natural disasters, told AVA that the fire occurred at one o'clock in the afternoon today (Thursday, January 13) in the market of Vahdat city in Argo district due to the carelessness of the shopkeepers.
He added that this incident happened after one of the shopkeepers used gas as a chair and did not turn it off when he wanted to participate in the prayer, which caused a fire.
He added that the fire brigade team from Faiz Abad went to the scene and contained the fire.
Meanwhile, an employee of the Badakhshan disaster management department told Ava that 6 shops have lost between 500,000 and 700,000 afghanis and two wholesale shops have lost up to two million afghanis.
