Shakir Sangi, an Afghan citizen in Pakistan, said that those whose visas have expired will unfortunately have to pay a fine of $400, and this is one of the concerns of Afghan citizens living in Pakistan in Islamabad.
Rafiullah Nikzad, a journalist, said in this regard: Afghan journalists are living in a miserable situation in Pakistan. Unfortunately, their visas have expired and they have been applying for visa extensions for months, but the Pakistani government has not granted them visas.
At the same time, a number of Kabul residents claim that they have been waiting for months to get a Pakistani visa, but they are finally getting rejected.
The residents of Kabul want the Islamic Emirate, especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to solve this problem through dialogue.
Leilma, a resident of Kabul, also said that we request the government of the Islamic Emirate to discuss this issue diplomatically with the country of Pakistan so that facilities can be created for our compatriots in terms of visas.
A resident of Kabul said: We have received an invitation from Pakistan, but when we go to the embassy, the embassy is closed and they don't allow us to enter.
On the other hand, "Dan" newspaper of Pakistan has reported that a Pakistani prosecutor said that Afghans seeking asylum in other countries should not be forcibly deported.
Currently, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey and a few countries have consular services in Afghanistan.
