The spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Trade says that Iranian, Russian and Chinese businessmen have announced their readiness to invest in the electricity and agriculture sectors.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Abdul Salam Akhundzada Javad, the spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, stated in a conversation with the AVA reporter that Nuruddin Azizi, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate, has met with Iranian, Russian and Chinese businessmen for Afghanistan's economic self-sufficiency.
He added that in this meeting, businessmen have declared their readiness to invest in electricity and agriculture sectors.
Based on Javad's statements, Iranian businessmen are very interested in the extraterritorial farming sector in Afghanistan and want to invest in lands near the waters of Afghanistan.
He pointed out that some other neighboring countries are also applying for investment in Afghanistan's agriculture, livestock and industry programs, with which the final discussion has not yet been held.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade emphasized that this ministry will do its best to provide necessary facilities for businessmen.
He said that due to the country's diplomatic missions being blocked abroad, this ministry has made it easier for businessmen to obtain visas at the Kabul market.
According to Javad, foreign businessmen can fill out a form and receive an invitation letter from the ministry's website.
Javad added that after foreign businessmen come to Afghanistan, this ministry cooperates with them in obtaining permits, land, bringing raw materials from abroad and exporting their products.
He also asked all citizens of the country to use domestic products instead of imported materials to encourage domestic and foreign investors.
