Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Mr. Karzai wrote on his official Twitter yesterday that the behavior of the Pakistani government with these prisoners is inappropriate and against values.
He once again asked the government of Pakistan to treat Afghan immigrants in accordance with international standards and human rights principles.
The situation of Afghan refugees imprisoned in Pakistan's Sindh province, especially in the prisons of Karachi, has been described as dire.
It is said that the number of Afghan prisoners in these Pakistani prisons is nearly 1,400, including more than 300 children.
