Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Bilal Karimi, the Deputy Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, announced today, Monday (December 19), that the United Nations report on the human rights situation in Afghanistan is far from reality and that there are no human rights violations in this country.

Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, published his new report on the situation in Afghanistan and its impact on peace and security in the world.

Bilal Karimi, the deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, says that we are committed to respecting all the rights of Afghans within the framework of Islamic principles and we will not take a step against it.

The Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate stated that the issues that are implemented in the West are not implemented in our country, because the name of our country is Afghanistan and the Islamic system rules here.

Bilal Karimi considers the UN report to be far from the truth and says that the Islamic Emirate has announced a general amnesty and tens of thousands of employees of the previous regime who worked in different departments are continuing their normal lives.

In this report, Guterres said that the Islamic Emirate must fulfill its obligations to prevent discrimination and injustice.

According to this report, the freedoms and fundamental rights of Afghans, especially the freedoms of women and girls, have been severely restricted, and restrictions on the right to education and work of girls and women, their participation in social work and access to services continue.

It should be remembered that the authorities of the Islamic Emirate had previously said that they adhere to the provision of human rights from the perspective of Islam and consider the statements of international organizations and western countries to be excuses.
