Acting Minister of Information and Culture Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah and Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi Minister of Foreign Affairs traveled to made Farah province on Saturday.

Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Monitoring, According to a statement, the two acting ministers met with the local officials of Kandahar and Helmand provinces on their visits to Farah province.

In a meeting the provincial, head of Information and Culture of Farah, Mawlavi Abdulahi Sabawoon, called on top official of Ministry of Information and Culture to restore the ancient and historical sites of Farah province, to attract more domestic and foreign tourists to this province.

According to a statement received by BNA Foreign Minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi mentioned good ties with Qatar and neighboring countries, adding that now security is better to boost tourism industry.

Meanwhile, Khairkhah said mentioned an increase in domestic and foreign tourists with the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate, adding that the ministry of Information and Culture strives to restore historical sites with the income collected from tourism industry.

In this trip Khairkhah give necessary instruction to the civil and military officials about the security and protection of tourists and historical sites on that province, added to a statement.

22 ancient buildings have been registered in the ministry of information and culture and 19 other ancient buildings of this province to be register in the future according to the ministry officials.
