In Rastaq district of Takhar, a water supply project at the cost of 9.7 million Afghanis was commissioned by the Swedish committee.

Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Monitoring, During the opening of this water supply network, the chairman of the Swedish Committee of the North East Zone, Faizullah Howaida, said that in this project, the Swedish Committee has invested 9.7 million Afghanis to store spring water in different areas.

The project includes the construction of two reservoirs of 60 and 200 cubic meters, installation of 80 pipes and 35km of pipelines.

According to him, drinking water has been provided to 1500 families by repairing this network.
