With the announcement of the US Special Inspector General for the Reconstruction of Afghanistan (SIGAR), this office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country have resumed their activities that were stopped after the fall of the previous government in Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): This agency added that the US State Department and the International Development Organization of this country have resumed the projects and programs that were stopped after the fall of Afghanistan.
According to this department, these programs will be implemented in the field of poverty alleviation, elimination of hunger and malnutrition, health care, agriculture and education.
SIGAR has said that the administration will monitor all programs to prevent aid from being wasted.
SIGAR emphasized in this report that Afghanistan is losing its achievements of the past 20 years.
Based on this report, in the first six months of the Islamic Emirate's rule, 51% of Afghan media outlets were closed. The caretaker government has now prepared a procedure for the media, according to which no media has the right to publish news without its approval.
Also, SIGAR says that with the escape of specialists and the lack of government funding, Afghanistan's health system has faced a serious crisis.
The report added, US aid in October and November 2021 made Afghanistan's health system afloat with minimal facilities.
