Iran's Foreign Minister Hussain Amir Abdullahian said in an interview with an American media that Iran is not a place where anyone can stage a coup or a revolution. But those who want to riot will be dealt with according to the rules.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Hussain Amir Abdullahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who had traveled to New York to participate in the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, had an interview with American NPR radio.
In response to the question, do the demonstrators in Iran have legitimate concerns? He answered: We are all sorry about what happened to Mrs. Mehsa Amini. This happens all over the world, including dozens of cases a year in America, England and other countries. Since the occurrence of this incident, the president of my country has followed the matter carefully and talked with Mrs. Amini's family. The judicial system is seriously pursuing the issue. Due to the pure feelings of the Iranian people in the early hours of this incident, people expressed their protests peacefully. But the issue is over and everyone is waiting for the opinion of the judicial system. But some people from outside the country are inciting the people inside Iran by abusing the pure feelings of the people, through satellites, cyber space, in such a way that they have turned peaceful protests into violence. Of course, we wonder why some American officials in this issue interferes.
Abdullahiyan further stated regarding what happened to Ms. Amini: based on the research that has been done so far, firstly, there are documents that Ms. Amini had a brain problem and underwent surgery, and secondly, the witnesses who were summoned to the court. They have testified that he was not beaten by the police, but we still cannot judge and we have to wait for the detailed final investigation and the opinion of the judicial system. But now my question is, something has happened, why should the satellite networks that are managed from London or inside America, some Lemerica officials say provocative words and interfere? Some of these networks, which are directed from London, openly encourage people to riot, burn and kill. Let the judicial system give its opinion.
In the continuation of this interview, referring to the protests and riots following the death of Mehsa Amini, he said: There are protesters in Iran regarding this incident who express their demands peacefully. But now organized networks are working in the field of creating insecurity and pursuing disruption of public order. The terrorist group of the hypocrites, which martyred 17 thousand Iranians, is being provoked by America and some European countries and they are sending their operatives inside Iran. Iran is not a place where anyone can stage a coup or a revolution. Iranian people are understanding. There is a difference between protest, disruption and riot. In Iran, we pay attention to the demands of the people, but we act according to our laws with those who want to riot and are under the influence of outside the country.
Iran's Foreign Minister answered the question, "Is it right to imprison women for their clothes?" Note: Countries have frameworks, laws, regulations and values. We have full democracy in our country. The same situation you see in Iran shows the existence of democracy in Iran. Let us wait for the results of the judiciary report.
