Public sources in Herat province say that the electricity imported from Turkmenistan to this province has been cut off.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: These sources have also told some media that since around 10:00 PM last night (September 28), the electricity imported from Turkmenistan has been cut off in Herat and many parts of the city have been plunged into darkness.
So far, the cause of the power outage in Herat city has not been determined, and the head of Barshana in this province has not said anything about it either.
It should be mentioned that a part of Herat city's electricity is supplied through the 110 kV line imported from Turkmenistan and most of it depends on electricity imported from Iran.
