Yesterday (Monday, September 19), the American Foreign Minister met and talked with Armenia and Azerbaijan foreign ministers in order to establish peace and ceasefire.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): On Monday, September 19, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken met with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Jihun Bayramov at a hotel in New York on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly.
This is the first face-to-face meeting between the foreign ministers of the two countries after the two-day tension last week.
It should be noted that the tension between the two countries has killed more than 200 soldiers from both sides.
According to reports, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has claimed that 105 Armenian soldiers were killed in two-day clashes with the military of the Republic of Azerbaijan and that ten square kilometers of Armenian lands were captured by Azerbaijan.
