According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Combating Natural Disasters of the Islamic Emirate, the casualties caused by the recent floods in the country have reached 194 people.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Ministry of Combating Natural Disasters of the Islamic Emirate says that the number of victims of recent floods in 21 provinces of the country has reached 194.
Mohammad Nasim Haqqani, the spokesman of the ministry, told to Azadi Radio on Saturday that 194 people have died, 265 people have been injured and more than 12,000 houses have been completely or partially destroyed as a result of these natural events.
He added that more than 9,000 livestock were also destroyed and nearly 30,000 acres of agricultural land was also destroyed.
