According to local Islamic Emirate security officials, at least three people were injured in Mazar-e-Sharif blast.
Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_monitoring, The blast occurred in the Darwaza-e-Balkh area of Police District 4 in Mazar-e-Sharif at around 11:30 on Wednesday morning.
According to Mohammad Asif Waziri, the Islamic Emirate spokesman for the office of the chief of police in Balkh province, this explosion occurred when a person wanted to take explosives into the city.
The Islamic Emirate official, Waziri, further stated that the explosion has not inflicted casualties; however, three people have been wounded as a result of the blast.
Some locals, nevertheless, maintained that there were more injuries as a result of this occurrence than the Balkh province Islamic Emirate authorities had reported.
According to the Public Health Head for Balkh province, Najibullah Tawana, the explosion resulted in the injuries of six people who have been taken to the Balkh Provincial Hospital.
Social media videos made after the explosion showed that several people had fallen on the ground and that locals were taking them to hospitals.
