Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Mr. Wardak wrote in a series of tweets on Saturday (August 13, 2022) that these diplomats have arrived in Kabul.
Meanwhile, SG Shankar; The Indian Foreign Minister has said that some of the Indian diplomats, except the ambassador to Afghanistan, have gone to Afghanistan, and India is interested in continuing its people-to-people relations in view of the long historical relations with the Afghan society.
G. Shankar has clarified that Indian diplomats would have left the embassy in Afghanistan in August last year due to the situation at that time; but now a group of diplomats have returned to Afghanistan.
Based on his statements, if the Afghan employees are employed there, they are still present there and India will pay their salaries.
