The press office of Najaf Ashraf Province, on Monday, emphasizing that security and providing services to Hosseini mourners, announced the presence and participation of 5 million pilgrims at the same time as the first decade of Muharram.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Majid Al-Waili, governor of Najaf Ashraf, in an interview with Iraq News Agency (INA), stated that the plans to establish security and provide special services for the great Ashura ceremony are being implemented well, and movement in the streets of this province is intermittent.
 
Referring to the multitude of mourners and pilgrims in Najaf Ashraf province, he said that the number of pilgrims since the beginning of Muharram has reached more than five million people.
 
Majid Al-Waili has noted that 59 medical units have been deployed in the old-pilgrimage context of Najaf Ashraf city and its neighborhoods, and government hospitals such as Al-Sadr, Al-Zahra, Al-Hakim and Al-Najaf are in full readiness to provide all nursing and treatment services to the mourners.
