The speakers at the Hosseini Ashura ceremony in Mazar-e-Sharif called Ashura a global and unique movement in history and said that the secret of the survival of the Karbala incident was the sincerity and Allah-centeredness of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and his companions.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-Sharif: Hojjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Amin Mahmodi, an expert on religious issues in Balkh, said during the ceremony of Ashura Hosseini in Soltanieh Masjid in Mazar-Sharif city: Ashura has a special grandeur, brightness and universal passion among all the world events. It cannot be compared to the events of the world.
 
According to him, "it is up to us to examine the secret of this globalization in Hosseini meetings, the lesson of Ashura should be the lesson of our life today, and to responsibly transmit these messages to the next generations".
 
By raising the question, why did the Ashura movement become so widespread and global? He said: "Qualitatively and quantitatively, if we discuss, there have been many incidents in the world that have been many times higher in terms of deaths and other damages, but none of them have gained this grandeur and global authority."
 
Mr. Mahmodi stated that "the number of mourners who were martyred on the road to Karbala was many times higher than the martyrs of Ashura", and noted that one of the secrets of the longevity of Ashura was the "sincerity ". From the leader to all its people, they have had special sincerity.
 
He emphasized that sincerity is the key to the immortality of actions, sincerity is the key to the permanence of revolutions and movements, and increases the value of actions: "Imam Askari, peace be upon him, called sincerity a pure action that is specific to Allah (SWT)>
 
According to him, the Qur'an also mentions the sincere as fighters for the cause of Allah (SWT), who do not fear the blame of those who blame, and Karbala square had this feature. We must implement this feature in our lives to become Hosseini.
 
"In Sincerity, quantity is not important, but quality is important. If someone drinks a glass of water with sincerity and remembering the thirsty throat of Ali Asghar son of Imam Hussain (AS), this glass of water will cause an uproar in the calculation field. We must take the issue of sincerity very seriously, as Imam Hussein has spoken about sincerity at different times.
 
Meanwhile, thousands of citizens of Mazar-e-Sharif celebrated Ashura Hosseini in Soltanieh Mosque of Mazar-e-Sharif, Monday (August 8).
 
Government officials, different sections of people, women and students participated in this ceremony, and after the speech, prayer and lamentation and congregational prayer of Ashura noon were held.
