According to the United States Agency for International Development, the country has allocated 5.5 billion dollars to help Ukraine, and the total aid of the Joe Biden administration to Ukraine since the war with Russia reached 8.5 billion dollars.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): This organization announced that 4.5 billion dollars will be spent on meeting the urgent needs of the Ukrainian government, including pension payments, social welfare and health care costs, and another 1 billion dollars will be used to provide military funding for countering the Russian invasion.
On Monday, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced in a statement on the occasion of the sixth month of Russia's military invasion of Ukraine that the president of this country pledged to support the Ukrainian people in defending their country against Russian aggression as long as the war continues.
In this statement, the new US military aid of one billion dollars to Ukraine is mentioned. This aid is in addition to weapons worth ten billion dollars that were previously provided to that country.
This brings the total amount of US financial aid to Ukraine since the Russian invasion in February to $8.5 billion.
