The Director General of the Arms Control Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, at the 10th Conference on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, called for the complete cancellation of US sanctions against Iran and Iran's full adherence to its commitments.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Director General of the Arms Control Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China announced that the United States should cancel all illegal sanctions against Iran and all parties should be committed to returning the JCPOA to its path through diplomatic negotiations and exerting pressure through sanctions.
On Tuesday local time at the 10th Review Conference of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), Fu Kong, Director General of the Arms Control Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, added: "We must stick to the political solution in dealing with the challenges of nuclear proliferation."
This official of the Chinese Foreign Ministry continued: America should completely cancel its illegal sanctions against Iran and Iran should return to full compliance with its nuclear commitments.
The Director General of the Arms Control Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China said that America should withdraw all its nuclear weapons from Europe and stop deploying them in other parts of the world. China is ready to cooperate with all countries to strengthen the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), and under no circumstances will it be the first country to use nuclear weapons. To ensure national security, China keeps its nuclear weapons at a minimum level and does not compete with other countries in terms of numbers and capabilities.
On Monday local time at the NPT review conference at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, the US Secretary of State claimed: Iran is still on the path of nuclear escalation.
Without referring to the political decision of his country to return to the JCPOA and the lack of effective practical action by the Biden administration in this regard, he claimed: Although this country publicly claims that it wants to return to the JCPOA, since March, Iran either did not want to or could not accept the agreement.
Without referring to the dual policy of diplomacy and the pressure of the Biden government, Blinken claimed: Returning to the JCPOA is still the best result for America, Iran and the world.
In a simultaneous statement to the NPT conference, US President Joe Biden claimed: Through diplomacy and in coordination with our regional allies and partners, we have made a proposal to ensure mutual return to the full implementation of the JCPOA to ensure that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons.
The Biden administration, which claims a diplomatic approach towards Iran and an effort to return to the JCPOA, has so far not taken a step to show its goodwill and has applied maximum pressure to the failed policy.
