Turkish welfare organization RIDA has built a clean drinking water plant for thousands of families in Taloqan, Afghanistan.

Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Monitoring, Earlier, these families Nawabad Shorab area used salty water for drinking. The facility has been built at the cost of $3400.

Abdul Bashir, an official of Rida foundation said that the people of Nawabad Shorab were using salty water, but now they have access to fresh and healthy water.

Abdul Baqi, a local resident has expressed his happiness to PAN and added: “the people of the area were using salty water and suffered from different health problems, but now they are happy because they had fresh and healthy water”.
