The Pakistan embassy in Kabul has announced that it has signed an agreement with the Taliban Ministry of Public Health to change Mohammad Ali Jinnah Hospital which is located in the west of Kabul to a university hospital.
Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Monitoring, Pakistan’s ambassador to Kabul, Mansoor Ahmad Khan, announced on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Taliban Minister of Public Health Qalandar Ebad.
“Afghan Minister of Public Health H.E. Dr. Qalandar Ebad and a team of the University of Lahore signed a Letter of Understanding for assistance in running M. A. Jinnah Hospital Kabul & upgrade its facilities to make it a teaching hospital,” he tweeted on Tuesday.
Following this agreement, Pakistan is expected to assist this hospital and turn it into a University Hospital.
