Balkh security officials say three armed robbers were killed in clashes with security forces in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif and Takhar police say eight Daesh members were killed after security was disrupted in Taloqan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: Mohammad Asif Vaziri, spokesman for the Balkh Police Command, told AVA: "Before noon on Saturday, June 11th, three armed robbers entered a house after being chased by security forces and followed Clashes with security forces were killed.
According to him, the incident took place in the area of Khalid project, the first districts of Mazar-e-Sharif city. One of the security forces and a family member the house where robbers entered were also wounded in the incident.
In addition, Abdul Mubin Safi; A Takhar police spokesman also told Ava: "Eight Daesh members who were trying to commit crimes and disrupt the security of the people were killed by Takhar security officials during a quick and successful operation, and three of them were arrested."
According to him, the incident took place on Saturday June 11th, in the city of Taloqan.
Waziri stressed that the security forces were not harmed in the incident.
But local sources in Takhar say a number of civilians were also killed in the clashes.
