Afghan Voice Agency (AVA), Protests by Afghan refugees continue in Indonesia. With the new Australian Prime Minister visiting Jakarta, the asylum seekers once again gathered in front of the Australian Embassy to protest their misfortune.
The asylum seekers gathered in front of the Australian Consulate in Surabaya, Indonesia on Monday (June 6th).
Those who have been in limbo in Indonesia for years want to be transferred to immigrant countries.
Indonesia is known as a refugee sanctuary, and in recent years several asylum seekers have committed suicide due to uncertainty and despair.
