The Economic Commission meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar approved 6 of Kabul Municipality’s partnership projects to be contracted through the tender process.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_The economic commission meeting decided to enter into a memorandum of understanding with DP World to modernize Afghanistan’s ports and facilitate Afghanistan’s exports, said a press release from the office of the deputy prime minister.

Meanwhile, At the meeting, the Afghanistan Railway Authority was allowed to tender for the renewal of the Hairatan Railway Services Project contract.
The Afghanistan Railway Authority has said that the Afghan side should have full responsibility for the Hairatan railway and a contract will be signed with another company to provide the services.
