Taliban’s Red unit left with heavy casualties in an operation held by the Afghan National Army in western Nangarhar province.
Governor’s press office stated that 22 members of the Taliban red unit including 5 Pakistani nationals were killed in an attack by Afghan National Defense Forces in Dobandi and Sherlal Khail areas of Shirzad district.
During the clash 6 other members of the red unit have been injured, a Toyota Dotson and a Corolla vehicle were also completely destroyed.
An Afghan soldier was killed in this operation and three others are wounded.
Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
